Table Seating Guide

Discover optimal table sizes and seating arrangements for any occasion to maximize comfort and social interaction.

The guide below is a helpful starting point for planning your event layout and guest seating.

As a general rule, allow 24–30 inches of space per guest for comfortable seating. Tighter seating is possible, but chair width and tabletop setup should always be considered.

Tabletop elements such as chargers, florals, candles, and décor can increase the footprint on the table and may require wider tables.

These seating capacities work well with our Reception Chairs, Folding Chairs, and most Specialty Chairs. Please note that wider specialty chairs, such as the Alexander, Anne, Heidi and the Finley Chairs, may reduce the number of guests that can comfortably fit at each table.
